The whole NI environment is just annoying as shit to use because you are constantly having to work around "weird shit" that just doesn't make any sense.Native Instruments Massive X v1.4.3 + R2R Keygen Windows ![]() And then take a look at where the web version is, and see if the "good stuff" that you loved NI for has been retained, and the "bad stuff" has been eliminated.īut yeah. Maybe step away from NI for a year or two. I suspect, over the next two years or so, NI users will abandon the locally-installed version to run the web version, simply due to the interface improvements that will be EASY to make in a web app, and impossible to make in their core application. This allows them to focus on the parts they are good at - the instruments - and leave all the other stuff - screen resizing, fonts, platform-agnostic presentation, etc - up to the web browser. That's why they came up with the web-based SaaS version, I suspect. It's this black box you send data into, and results come out, and it is so hard-wired into everything that NOBODY messes with that code.) Our core code, there isn't even anyone around anymore who knows how it works. 15 years of patchwork innovative ideas now supports an enormous app, and nothing was written "properly", and there's no way to go back in and fix it without literally breaking everything. (My company has a similar problem right now. not only hard, it is basically impossible. However, rewriting the entire infrastructure in which all of the instruments work is. There’s no way to play sounds in Komplete Kontrol standalone without having a MIDI keyboard connected. ![]() You can’t search the factory library and the user library at the same time. There is no way to search more than one plugin without searching them all. When browsing, there’s no way to tell which product a preset is for without loading it completely. Text is blurry and the window shows up tiny on high-res screens. The UI has been the same since 2015(!) and still lacks bare-minimum UI features like a resizable window. But KK, NI’s flagship software and the central hub for all of their products, has languished for so long that I think I’m ready to move on. ![]() I just upgraded to Komplete 13 and I own an M32 keyboard, and I've used NI products since 2010. ![]()
